Both. Our sofa throws move easily between the living room and the bedroom — draped over a sofa in the evening, carried to the foot of the bed at night. A throw blanket for the couch here is never just one thing.

Alpaca fiber runs warmer and holds more weight, giving a throw its structure. Cashmere is finer and softer against the skin. Freyjaloft blends the two — Peruvian Royal Alpaca for warmth and body, Inner Mongolian cashmere for softness — so every alpaca and cashmere throw carries both qualities at once, rather than choosing between them.

For a large sofa throw or a bed cover, an oversized blanket like our Signature Grid gives full coverage for two. For a lighter, single-person wrap, a more compact size — like our Medallion — moves easily between rooms.

Grid is our largest, in 85% alpaca and 15% cashmere — thick, warm, built for a bed or a shared sofa throw. Medallion shares the same blend at a smaller size, light enough for daily use on a single sofa. Nomad, in 90% lambswool and 10% cashmere, is our lightest and most portable — made to roll up and travel.

Natural fibers prefer a gentle hand. Dry clean only, and keep away from direct heat and direct sunlight. Treated this way, a wool throw blanket holds its shape and softness for years.
