Since our founding in 1999, we have devoted ourselves to the development of natural fibers, guided always by a steady sense of environmental responsibility. Over 27 years, we have built long-term, trust-based partnerships with collaborators across 52 countries and regions — evolving from a single manufacturer into a devoted partner across the global wool craft industry.

It was from this heritage that the name Freyjaloft was born — drawn from Freyja, the Norse goddess of love, beauty, abundance, and magic, a symbol of feminine strength and belonging. This mythology gives our brand its distinct character and purpose: to shape, through every piece we create, a life lived in quiet, elegant balance.

Our Origins

Every Freyjaloft piece begins with a fiber, not a fabric. We source Peruvian alpaca for its rare softness, Inner Mongolian cashmere for its warmth and refinement, and Australian Merino wool for its exceptional quality — each chosen not for abundance, but for character. We believe a truly luxurious textile starts long before the loom, in the careful selection of what the earth has already made well.

Our Craft

Behind every Freyjaloft piece is a process that resists shortcuts. Edges are hand-rolled, corners hand-crocheted — details that exist not because they are efficient, but because they endure. Some pieces are shaped through jacquard weaving, where pattern and structure are built together, thread by thread. Others are finished by hand embroidery, where a single motif can take hours to complete. It's a slower way of making things, and we think that's exactly the point.

Our Collections

Our range is intentionally focused: wool blankets and throws, woven from alpaca, cashmere, and lambswool; and wool cushions, finished in signature jacquard and hand embroidery. Each piece is designed to move easily between rooms and seasons — as much at home on a sofa as it is at the foot of a bed, or folded over an armchair on a quiet evening.
